in recent years, international and domestic research on dc power distribution has been in full swing, and a series of research results have been achieved. the china-led cigre c6.31 medium voltage dc power distribution feasibility study international working group has carried out three years of work, the international working group on reliability analysis and optimization methods for power supply of low voltage ac/dc systems at cigre b3.42 plant station led by china. the research work is nearing completion. at the end of 2016, the china electricity council announced the t/cec 107-2016 “dc distribution voltage” standard. in early 2017, the first dc power distribution system standardization technical committee was formally established. china's research on medium and low voltage dc power distribution has achieved initial results.
dc power distribution and energy storage complement each other and drive each other. the development of energy storage is an important driving force for the development of dc power distribution, and the development of dc power distribution will also promote the development of the energy storage industry. the combination of dc power distribution and energy storage will be an important technical route for high-quality power supply in the future. it has positive significance for both power operators and incremental power sales companies. it is believed that it will also be an important branch of the energy storage industry.
on april 24-26, 2017, the 7th china international energy storage conference was held at the shangri-la hotel, suzhou. during the conference, the “dc power distribution and energy storage specialist” supported by the china energy and physical power industry association energy storage application branch and the “supply and power” magazine, nanjing guochen information automation technology co., ltd. and abb (china) co., ltd. successfully held on the afternoon of the 25th. the conference was fortunate to have invited nine experts to share the latest research results, attracting more than 500 researchers and technicians from all over the country. the core content of the report is summarized as follows:
ma wei: new trends in international research on medium and low voltage dc power distribution
ma qian thousand people focused on the development of dc power supply standards by three well-known international standards organizations, including the iec smb strategy group, the ieee standards association's work on low-voltage dc power distribution, and china-led work progress of the cigre c6.31 international working group on medium voltage dc power distribution feasibility study. ma yiqian believes that dc power distribution technology is still in the initial stage and engineering pilot stage. the commercialization practice of public dc distribution network is almost blank. many research results on dc power distribution technology have not been tested by practice. there are still a lot of problems in planning and design, scheduling operations, control and protection, key equipment, economic analysis, etc., which require further research.
hou yiming: interpretation of t/cec 107—2016 “dc distribution voltage”
professor hou yiming introduced the background, purpose and process of the establishment of the china electric power enterprise association group standard t/cec 107-2016 "dc distribution voltage". professor hou yiming pointed out that determining the voltage level standard of dc distribution network at all levels is the primary problem encountered in the development of dc power distribution, while t/cec 107-2016 "dc distribution voltage" first proposed the range of dc distribution voltage, medium and low voltage. the dc power distribution voltage level sequence is recommended for the dc power distribution transmission capacity range of different voltage levels, which can provide reference for the dc power distribution planning, design, construction and operation of the public power grid of ±100kv and below.
